FAA Part 141 Approved Courses

Part 141 means our curriculum meets the FAA's strictest standards for structure and efficiency. You train smarter, log fewer required hours, and finish faster than a traditional Part 61 program.

FAA Examining Authority

We're one of the few schools in South Florida authorized to administer checkrides on-site. No waiting for an examiner's availability. No driving to another facility. You test where you trained.

Training Timeline

Every aviation career begins here. Your Private Pilot Certificate gives you the freedom to fly on your own schedule, carry passengers, and build the foundation for everything that comes next.

The next critical step. Your Instrument Rating allows you to fly through clouds, low visibility, and challenging weather conditions, safely and legally, and is a required milestone toward your Commercial Certificate.

This is where your passion becomes a profession. Your Commercial Certificate gives you the legal ability to be compensated for flying and opens the door to a wide range of aviation career opportunities.

The most common and efficient path to building flight hours. As a CFI, you reinforce your own skills every day while shaping the next generation of pilots, all while logging the hours needed to reach airline minimums.

The ultimate goal. With hundreds of hours in your logbook, a strong resume, and the training behind you, you'll be ready to transition into a career flying for regional or major carriers.

What aircraft will I fly during training?

At Aviator Zone Academy, you’ll train with a modern and well-maintained fleet that includes the Cessna 152 and 172, as well as the Diamond DA20 and DA40 for single-engine certifications. How many flight hours do I need for commercial training?

To earn your Commercial Pilot License, you must complete the aeronautical knowledge test and meet the flight experience requirements outlined by the FAA under Part 61 or Part 141. The required flight hours vary depending on the program you choose, but generally include a combination of solo and instructor-led flights to ensure you gain the experience you need for single- or multi-engine commercial certifications.

What’s the difference between Part 61 and Part 141 training programs?

Part 141 is a professional, FAA-approved program built for students who want structure, accountability, and the most efficient route to certification. Its standardized curriculum allows students to qualify for a Private Pilot Certificate with as few as 35 flight hours and opens the door to benefits such as VA funding and M1 Visas for international students.

Part 61 does not follow a standardized FAA-approved curriculum and is typically used by students transferring from another school or pursuing certificate conversions. We offer both programs, ensuring consistent safety and training standards across the board
