A spin is one of the most misunderstood situations in aviation. Most pilots never experience one intentionally, and that's exactly the problem. At Aviator Zone, our Spin Training course puts you in the cockpit with a senior instructor, walks you through what a spin actually feels and looks like, and gives you the tools to recognize, prevent, and recover from one with confidence.

The course includes approximately one hour of flight time in a Cessna 172 G1000 and 45 minutes of ground instruction, split between a pre-flight briefing and a post-flight debrief. Every session is conducted one-on-one by our Chief or Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, the only instructors at Aviator Zone authorized to teach this course.

Who this course is for:

• CFI candidates who need the required spin endorsement under FAR § 61.183(i)(1) and (2).
• Any pilot who wants to fully understand spin entry and recovery and become a safer, more confident aviator.

What to expect:

• Duration: approximately 1 hour of flight + 45 minutes of ground instruction.
• Aircraft: Cessna 172 G1000.
• Location: Miami Executive Airport only.
• Physical requirements: maximum weight 200 lbs (90 kg) and height under 6 feet (1.82 m).
• The flight is non-refundable once payment is made.
