Aviator Zone Academy is one of South Florida's only FAA Part 141 flight schools authorized to sponsor M-1 Visas for international students. That means you can come to the U.S. specifically to train with us, and we'll guide you through every step of the process, from your application to your first flight.

Our full Airline Pilot Program takes students from zero experience to Commercial Pilot, CFI, and beyond, in approximately 11 months. You'll train one-on-one in a modern fleet that includes the Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Diamond DA20, Diamond DA40, and the Piper Seneca, all in South Florida's year-round flying weather.

What to expect:

Duration: approximately 11 months for the full Airline Pilot Program from zero experience.
Aircraft: Cessna 152, Cessna 172 (G1000 available), Diamond DA40, Piper Seneca.
Full program tuition starts at $64,935. For a personalized quote, speak with an advisor.
A $500 non-refundable application fee is required to begin the I-20 process, plus 25% of tuition before the I-20 is issued.

To apply, you must:

Be at least 17 years old.
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to obtain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate upon arrival.
Be proficient in English, this is a firm requirement.
Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months before expiration.
Show proof of funds for training and housing to the school and the U.S. Embassy.
Be available to train full-time, 5 days per week.

Every aviation career starts here. Your Private Pilot Certificate gives you the freedom to fly independently and builds the foundation for everything that comes next.

The critical next step. Your Instrument Rating allows you to fly safely in clouds and low visibility, and is a required milestone toward your Commercial Certificate.

This is where your passion becomes a profession. Your Commercial Certificate gives you the legal ability to be compensated for flying.

The most efficient way to build hours. As a CFI, you reinforce your own skills every day while logging the hours needed to reach airline minimums.

The ultimate goal. With hundreds of hours in your logbook and the training behind you, you'll be ready to fly for regional or major carriers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does payment work?

A $500 non-refundable application fee is due upon applying, along with 25% of your course tuition before your I-20 is issued. The remaining balance is due after your arrival in the U.S.

Do you help with housing?

Yes. We coordinate housing with partners near Miami Executive Airport. Indicate in your application if you need assistance and we'll connect you with available options.

What aircraft will I fly?

You'll train in the Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Diamond DA20, and Diamond DA40 for single-engine certifications, including our 2025 models with Garmin G1000 avionics. For multi-engine, you'll fly the Piper Seneca.

What's the difference between Part 61 and Part 141?

Part 141 is a structured, FAA-approved program that lets you qualify for certifications in fewer flight hours, and is the only option for M-1 Visa sponsorship. Part 61 is more flexible but does not qualify for visa purposes. International students train under Part 141.

How many flight hours do I need?

Requirements vary by certification level. Under Part 141, you can earn your Private Pilot Certificate with as few as 35 hours. An advisor will walk you through the full hour requirements for your program.
